Over the last few weeks we’ve had the amazing site of a humpback whale just off shore from our closest beaches.
Yesterday the whale became caught up in the lines from some whelk pots, sparking a rather exciting rescue operation.
With the Dart Lifeboat in attendance, members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue team managed to free the whale unharmed from the lines.
