The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium, located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean.
The Aquarium itself is made up of four zones, with lots of different exhibits and animals found in each. You start your journey in the local waters of Plymouth Sound and the further you journey around the Aquarium, the further you journey around the world’s Ocean, finishing up in the stunning Great Barrier Reef.
If you find yourself with some time after your visit you can also explore Plymouth’s historic Barbican and take in the stunning views from Plymouth Hoe.
